No surprise to anyone involved in my life I didn’t get a chance to submit a story for this year’s DSP Advent Calendar (insert big frowny face here). Imagine my excitement when I was asked to join several authors I admire in a seasonal anthology and life behaved.

Looking at the Beth Wylde Yahoo Group Pride Month schedule (Have you seen it? Take a look at that baby!) I knew this would be a busy month. But, it’s starting to explode already. Love Romances Cafe Yahoo Group is kicking the month off with a special GLBT Open Excerpt Day today and I’m sure there will be more celebrations announced as time goes on.
In other news, I admit to a small moment of hyperventilation when I realized my story, The One That Counts is not only available for individual sale today, but leads off the First Time For Everything Package! Eeeep. Granted, part of the fun is not knowing exactly when in the month the story will be released. But, I Eeeep nonetheless.
And yes, if you’ve visited my FB & Twitter today (what,you haven’t?) you are well aware of my Pfffffft’ing at the lack of photos to go along with the discovery of ancient markings found inside a secret chamber inaccessible to humans in the Great Pyramid of Giza. *sigh* So unfair.

Goodness me! I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 weeks since I’ve been out and about in web world. What have I missed? To everyone at Clare’s Bday blog heartfelt apologies for not swinging by and commenting. All I can say is that there’s been too much real life in my real life, and don’t we all hate when that happens?

When a “snowpocalypse” forces them to share a motel room, they soon find out there’s more than one reason for the chance happenings of the season.

June 1st! While a good part of me is quivering with denial and wants to hide because this means half the year is gone – yes! Gone! The other part is excited because The Scenic Route is now available at Dreamspinner Press.
Summary: It’s the first time Ed Baldwin has ever taken his boyfriend Joe Sutton home to meet his parents, and nervous, he keeps trying to pick a fight with Joe to relieve his stress while they drive. When Joe’s had enough, they pull over in a very small town where the choice in motels only adds to Ed’s anxiety. A series of strange happenings puts them back on the road sooner than expected, and it’s at an all-night diner that they find out why the Easy Rest Motel didn’t live up to its name. That’s what Ed gets for letting Joe take the scenic route.
